For Megan's 30th birthday party we all went to Salt Lake City on September 24th-26th to celebrate. Jennie came from Alabama, Rosie from California, Megan from Vernal, Utah, Sarah from Texas, Carrie from Iowa and Melissa and Mom from Wyoming. Our first night together we enjoyed eating at the Olive Garden. Megan got serenaded by our servers for her birthday. The next morning we enjoyed attending the Salt Lake Temple together. During the afternoon we ate at Cafe Rio and went shopping at the Gateway Mall. That evening we had the special privilege of attending the Annual Relief Society Meeting in the Conference Center. The general Relief Society presidency and President Monson spoke. It was a very special experience to be in the presence of the prophet. Dad and Jared went to the BYU football game, then joined us Saturday evening for a birthday party. Dad gave Megan a beautiful pedestal bowl he had turned on his lathe. Sunday morning we all attended Music and the Spoken Work in the tabernacle on Temple Square. Thank-you dads for taking care of the fourteen children that belong to these sweet moms so we could have this special time together. We love you all.
