Today Amy and I took a short hike to Laurel Lake.
It is up the hill to the west of String Lake.
It was a little cool and windy, but beautiful.
You can see Jenny Lake below to the south.
Yes folks, it is September,
and that white stuff is snow.
Mount St. John in the background.
Looking to the north you can see String Lake,
Leigh Lake and Jackson Lake.
We visited with Grandma in Jackson
and had the bonus of the beautiful drive home.
This is Snake River, near Dog Creek.
