Today we hiked to Delta Lake in Grand Teton
National Park. This beautiful secluded lake can
be reached by leaving the trail to Amphitheater
and Surprise Lakes. The trail is not on the map,
and is not marked or maintained by the park,
so it is a little tricky, and crosses two steep
boulder fields, but we were really glad
that we did it. The lake gets its color from
the minerals in the runoff from Teton Glacier.
This lake is stunnng, and it was another
beautiful day in paradise.
