Yesterday we got in a little hike.
We took our buckets and went back
to where we had found huckleberries.
We don't know why this is called Skull Creek,
but we wondered if this rock formation
had anything to do with it.
The wildflowers are on their way out at the lower
elevations, but you can always find some if you are looking.
Score
Miles hiked: 6
Huckleberries picked: half a gallon. Well,
we brought home half a gallon. We did eat
a few:-) Total picked was probably one gallon.
So, with two of us walking 6 miles for half
a gallon calculates to 24 miles per gallon.
Pies eaten: Mom made pie for ya'll, but since
you weren't here, Jared and I had to eat it all.
We sure slept well this afternoon.
