Shoal Falls

Today we hiked to Shoal Falls.
It is about five miles east of Granite Hot Springs.
We didn't start as early as we should,
so we had to turn back at the saddle
where we could see the falls
and didn't make it to the falls.
So, we have to go again next week.
Anyone want to go ???
We did make it back to Granite
in time for a well earned one hour soak.

SCORE
Miles hiked: 10
Vertical gain: lots of up and down here,
but we did make it back to the truck,
so I guess the net gain was zero.
Wildflowers: Wow, they are really coming on.
Too many to photograph.
Wildlife: We saw the bigest deer I have ever seen.
He was too fast for a photo.
Rain: Just enough to settle the dust.

Very pretty! It is so fun to see the green...you should see how dry everything is here. Corey has enjoyed taking your hikes with you through "virtual reality". Wish we could be there in person. Happy Birthday!
