Amy and Jim Moser Family: Little Dog Creek

Yesterday Jim and Amy hiked up Dog Creek,

past Pup Creek, and to the head of Little Dog Creek.

We made it to the divide where we could see

the Teton, Gros Ventre, Wind, Snake and Greys

River Ranges. It was an awesome day,

and the flowers were really nice. This trail

is not well traveled and at times we were

making our own trail, but the views were worth it.

12 miles.

2040 feet vertical gain.

Happiness is as the genuine diamond, which, rough or polished, shines with its own inimitable luster; pleasure is as the paste imitation that glows only when artificially embellished. Happiness is as the ruby, red as the heart's blood, hard and enduring; pleasure, as stained glass, soft, brittle, and of but transitory beauty.
