Brooks Lake with Landon

This week we had the opportunity of having
Landon stay with us.  Yesterday we went fishing
at Brook's Lake on the top of Togwotee Pass.

Landon took a short turn at the oars.
Otherwise, I was a trolling motor for six hours.

The fish were biting, and I have never seen fish
jumping like they were.  Landon caught my
limit for me, and helped Grandma with hers.

Great day - lots of fun.

We took a minute to walk over to
Brook's Lake Creek Falls.

Landon is a statue.

Landon is a clock.

We had a nice week, and Landon
helped Grandma every day.
Never a dull moment.

On the way home, we took the inner park
road, and at the Moran entrance station I
stopped to show my pass.  Landon was sitting
in the middle of the front seat in the pickup
and was asleep.  He woke for just a few seconds,
and thinking we were at the drive up window at
Wendy's asked, "what did you order?"
He immediately went back to sleep,
but Grandma laughed the rest
of the way home.
