Trip to Victoria

We were able to spend the past week traveling
with Mom and Dad. They left a week earlier
and we flew to Seattle, rode a bus to Port Angeles,
where we stayed over night, and then took
the ferry to catch up to them in Victoria,
Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.

Look at the bowls in that tree!

We spent one day touring the beautiful Butchart Gardens

Another day we drove up the southwest coast
and enjoyed the scenery. Everything was so green.

On the way back we visited Olympic National Park

This is the balcony where we stayed for two nights
at Discovery Bay, Washington.
Tuesday we drove four hundred miles and stayed
at a beautiful place on Lake Coeur d'Alene, Idaho,
and Wednesday drove six hundred miles home.
We stopped and had dinner with Jared in Rexburg.
We enjoyed the trip and it was good to spend
some time with mom and dad.
