This afternoon Amy and Jim took a little bike ride
in the park. The bike path was closed because they
had just sprayed a seal coat of oil on it, so we
parked at the Taggart Lake Trailhead and rode
on the road up around the Jennie Lake loop.
There wasn't much traffic and the weather was
beautiful. Afterwards we stopped at Calico Pizza
and had the best pizza we've had in forty years.

Last time we were here on the bikes,
the lake was frozen over with six feet
of snow on it, and in the parking lot.
