Hike of the Week - August 25

This afternoon we hiked to Wagner Lake.

It was eight miles round trip, with a 2300 foot climb.

We tried this last month but there was too much snow

and we couldn't get over the divide from Cottonwood Lake.

Yes boys and girls, it is August 25th and that is snow.

These pretty little flowers were growing out of the rocks.

Lots of the flowers at the lower elevations were on their

way out, but up high they were still beautiful, like these

little daisies or asters, and lots of different colors of

Indian Paintbrush.

Heading home. Another great hike.
