Mystery Photo #2

First one was too easy. Wait until I get my slide scanner up and running. Here's one for you. Where is this? When was it taken? What is the lesson to be learned?

My guess would be behind Grandma Harris's house. A lesson could be that if you get off track for a while you can always turn around and start on the straight and narrow again.

Sarah, this is not in Wyoming. Your lesson to be learned is very close. Love Dad.

Is the tree in the National Park in Nevada that you went to a couple of years ago?

This photo was taken in Great Basin National Park, near Baker, Nevada. This was in the fall (look at the yellow aspen leaves). The year was 2006. There are two lessons to be learned: 1) If you are hiking with your wife and can't keep up, find something to take a picture of - it gives you a chance to catch your breath and you don't look like such a wimp. 2) No matter how bad you get beat up or knocked down just keep going toward the light and you will be okay.
